Two strikers have been sent out on season long loans.
Michael Reindorf has moved the 12 miles or so to Newport County while Roco Simic (remember him?) has joined Karlsruher SC in the 2. Bundesliga.
Cardiff bought Simic from Salzburg in August 2024, immediately loaning him out to Belgian outfit KV Kortrijk. He returned to Cardiff but was never given a chance to see if he could help save the club from relegation.
Reindorf did see a little bit of first team action but never looked like being given a fair chance of game time under Omer Riza.
