Hibs have today been linked with a move for TSV Hartberg goalkeeper Raphael Sallinger.
According to the Daily Record, The Hibees have targeted the Austrian keeper as a possible summer transfer signing.
The Hibees are looking for a challenger to Number 1 Jordan Smith, who has had a superb season since arriving last summer as No.2.
Josef Bursik started the season as No.1 but lost his place to Smith after some horrific form, and is expected to return to parent club Club Brugge when his loan deal expires this summer, with Hibs not likely to sign him permanently.
3rd choice, Polish keeper Max Boruc will also leave the club when his contract expires.
Hibs boss David Gray has targeted 29-year-old Sallinger as a possible signing, and the club know they can trigger a release clause in his contract, that still has a year to run with the Austrian Bundesliga club.
6ft 5in Sallinger has previously played for Kalsdorf, Kaiserslautern and Wolfsberger.
The Hibees have also been linked with a loan move for Alex Poulsen, currently with fellow Black Knight club Bournemouth, and out on loan with another Black Knight in Auckland FC.

Another name being linked with ER.
The Hibees are increasingly being linked with moves for players as the end of the season approaches, and with it, the summer transfer window.
A keeper will be high on the list, both Sallinger and Poulsen are probably two of many that will be linked with Edinburgh as the Hibees look to enter European football once more.
Sallinger looks a good prospect on paper with good experience, but at the minute, nothing concrete is in the pipeline.
