According to Scott Burns of the Daily Record, Hibs have rejected TWO deadline day bids for defender Rocky Bushiri.
Apparently a "top" Belgian side made a "six-figure" offer for the DR Congo international, and then came back with a higher offer but both have been booted out.
It's claimed David Gray didn't want to sell as Hibs didn't have an adequate replacement ready.
The report claims Hibs are happy to let his contract run down and let him leave for free in the summer, and that there is also interest in the player from the Middle East.
25-year-old Bushiri is in the form of his life after fighting back from the sidelines and forcing his way back into Gray's plans.
It's said he is keen to extend his stay in Leith, but right now there is no contract offer on the table.
HIBERNIAN-MAD VIEW:
It would have been a bold move had Hibs sold Rocky right at the end of the window.
With no replacement in the building, and with Marvin Ekpiteta still out injured, it would have left Hibs short.
However this could be big Rocky's last few months in Leith.
