Villa Park will host England's first game of the 2025/26 season with Thomas Tuchel's side taking on Andorra in a World Cup qualifier on Saturday 6 September, a first senior men's international at the ground since 2005.
Tuchel told England Football: "We hope to be able to generate another special atmosphere and create a memorable occasion for all fans."
Having won their opening two qualifying matches, against Albania and Latvia, England should head to Birmingham with a further three points in the bag from the away fixture with Andorra, scheduled for the RCDE Espanyol Stadium on 7 June, one of two England fixtures being played in Barcelona in the space of a few days.
Although there is no major tournament this summer, some of Tuchel's squad will have had little time to rest, given the scheduling of the Club World Cup as an addition to the football calendar.
He will hope the Andorra game, and the preparation beforehand, will be enough to set England up for what is likely to be the toughest test of their qualification group when they travel to Belgrade to face Serbia a few days later.
Having been involved in Nations League action during the March international window, Serbia will look to make up some ground on England when they open their World Cup campaign with matches away to Albania and at home to Andorra in June.
