Andorra provide the opposition for England's next step on the road to the 2026 World Cup this Saturday, the game being played in Barcelona at the home of RDC Espanyol where England's women were beaten by Spain earlier in the week.
With the minnows set to try and frustrate England, the switch of venue may suit the visitors a little more than the smaller surroundings of the Estadi Nacional in Andorra itself.
That was where the hosts took on Latvia in their opening World Cup qualifier in March, a game that was relatively even in terms of chances created and settled only by a single goal for the visitors towards the hour mark.
Andorra then took on a more defensive shape for their game in Albania, only to concede twice in the opening 20 minutes before keeping the home side at bay until a third was added in stoppage time.
The last meeting between Andorra and England was in qualifying for the last World Cup, Gareth Southgate resting the likes of Harry Kane for the away game in October 2021 in which Bukayo Saka and Jack Grealish were among the scorers in a 5-0 victory.
With Thomas Tuchel having named a strong squad for the June international window, despite a long domestic season and with the Club World Cup still to come, will the England manager do similarly with his starting XI, given that there is only a friendly to follow against Senegal next week?
