Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko has publicly endorsed Michael Carrick for the permanent manager's role as Manchester United sit just two points away from mathematically securing their return to the Champions League.
Sesko, who scored the second goal in the win against Brentford, praised Carrick for bringing "different energy" and a "calming influence" to a squad that had previously struggled under Ruben Amorim.
