LuaLua makes Seagulls switch

Brighton & Hove Albion have signed Kazenga LuaLua on loan for a month from Championship outfit Newcastle United.

The 19-year-old midfielder could make his debut in the tough weekend clash against Norwich City.

LuaLua is the younger brother of former Magpies and Portsmouth forward Lomana.

He has featured in 12 games for the north-east giants since making his first-team bow during an FA Cup tie at Stoke City in January 2008.

With Albion occupying a place in the League One drop-zone, manager Gus Poyet is delighted to have bolstered his options with the temporary capture.

Speaking to the club's official website, he said: "Kazenga is an excellent addition to the squad as he will give us different options.

"He can play on the left or right side and is very quick. I've watched him a couple of times and I know his qualities."
