Toni suspended by Bayern
Bayern Munich have suspended Luca Toni after the Italian striker's critical remarks about boss Louis van Gaal earlier in the week.
The 32-year-old frontman has made only a handful of appearances for Bayern this season, with his most recent outing ending in him storming out of the Allianz Arena after being replaced at half-time of the 1-1 draw with Schalke.
An angry Toni told Rai TV: "It's been four months that I have had problems with him (van Gaal). Enough is enough. Our rapport is almost non-existent."
The Bayern boss has responded by saying: "We cannot accept this behaviour and we have made that clear to him. (Any further disciplinary action) is up to the board."
Toni moved to Germany in the summer of 2007 from Fiorentina and has scored 51 goals in 80 appearances for the Bavarian giants.
