Latics confirm Gregan U-turn
Veteran midfielder Sean Gregan has returned to Oldham Athletic on a one-year deal.
The 35-year-old was released by the Latics at the end of last season but was invited back to Boundary Park for talks by boss Dave Penney recently.
Gregan featured in almost 100 matches for the club following his arrival from Leeds United in November 2006, initially on loan.
The ex-Darlington, Preston and West Brom star has a wealth of experience having made more than 500 first-team appearances in a career spanning over 18 years.
Gregan is Penney's fourth capture of the summer following the purchases of Rob Purdie, Jon Worthington and Joe Jacobson.
