Magpies secure striker loan
Notts County have snapped up Scunthorpe United striker Jonathan Forte on loan.
The 22-year-old frontman has joined the Magpies on a month's loan and could make his debut against Barnet on Saturday.
"Jonathan is a terrific addition to our squad. He is young, quick and he has a variety of qualities to bring to our frontline," manager Ian McParland told the club's official website.
"We're delighted he has agreed to join us and we're very grateful to (manager) Nigel Adkins and Scunthorpe United for allowing him to come here."
The former England youth international was a regular in the Championship for the Iron last season, but has fallen down the pecking order this term.
