Vykintas Slivka to leave Hibs

Last updated : 25 May 2020 By Steve Forbes

Hibs have today confirmed that Lithuanian midfielder Vykintas Slivka will leave Easter Road when his contract ends later this summer.

Slivka, 25, joined the Hibees from Italian giants Juventus on a three-year-deal in the summer of 2017.

He has played 84 times, scoring 4 goals, but has found game time difficult recently, and it seems He has decided to leave Edinburgh for pastures new.

Hibs boss Jack Ross had stated that he hoped to sign the Lithuanian on a new deal, but that seems to have fallen through and he will now leave he club when his deal expires in June.

Editor's View:

Slivka has been a good servant for the Hibees, but he never really set the heather alight.

His form was very erratic at times, but he did have some very good games for the club.

He will be a very good signing for someone, and could be one the Hibees regret letting go.

Hibs-Mad would like wish Vykintas all the very best for the future.
