Crunch clash at Elland Road

Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has made just one change to his team that drew 1-1 for Watford for this afternoon’s big match against Leeds United. Joe Willock replaces Sean Longstaff in midfield.

Striker Chris Wood starts for the Magpies against one of his former teams and he will be looking for his first goals for his new club as they try to close the gap on one of the teams above them in the Premier League table.

Leeds enjoyed a 3-2 win at high-flying West Ham United last weekend and they have made two changes to their starting eleven with Diego Lllorente returning from suspension and Rodrigo also selected. Junior Firpo and Adam Forshaw miss out.

Newcastle are yet to record a league away win this season and start the game in the bottom three, ten points behind their opponents.
