Notts County may still yet sign another keeper

Magpies manager, Neal Ardley, said “Sam’s injury did not look good.

“We were playing out from the back and he just went to switch play to Zoumana Bakayogo in training and just walked straight off.

“The initial reaction is that it might be a grade two thigh problem which is not great.

“We’ve got to have a look at the situation now and Ross’ performances in games and in training will dictate whether he stays in the team or not.

“Ross was called back as it’s hard to bring a goalkeeper in on Friday when he hasn’t met or trained with the team.

“We will have a look, but he has to keep himself sharp, train well and keep hold of those shots like the one on Saturday.”
