Cowley told HampshireLive "I think for us, we are trying to keep improving the squad and we are open-minded as to how we do that.
We are working really, really hard to trying to identify the players that will complement the players that we already have in the squad and that is what we endeavour to do.
“We are just looking in all divisions and I’m not going to talk about players, particularly at other clubs because I just think it is so disrespectful and I wouldn’t want people to do that about my players, so I won’t do it about theirs.
“Absolutely we are looking for players to improve our team and they’ve got to be the right profile and they’ve also got to be the right character.”
