Preston had until 6pm on Tuesday evening to respond although Fisher did play against Blackburn after the deadline. Whilst full details have not been revealed it is believed to relate to Fisher grabbing an opposing player by the genitals in the Sheffield Wednesday game.
The incident was caught on camera but was missed by the officials although neither player seemed to make an issue over the incident. Fisher could face a lengthy suspension if he is found guilty of misconduct.
