Exclusive: Newcastle & Bournemouth Among Premier League Sides Keen on Hull City Winger Jarrod Bowen

Newcastle and Bournemouth have added their names to the long list of suitors for coveted Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen.

The 22-year-old has been outstanding in the Championship this season, racking up 15 goals and three assists in 20 appearances since the start of the campaign.

Hull are desperate to see him sign a new contract as soon as possible, but 90min understands that they could soon receive offers from numerous top-flight sides who are eager to take advantage of the situation.

Bowen's current contract expires in the summer, although the Tigers do have the option to automatically extend that by a further year, so there is no immediate danger of him walking away for free just yet.

Newcastle United had been leading the race for his signature in January, but they are now expected to face serious competition from Bournemouth. The Cherries are looking for a long-term replacement for Ryan Fraser, who is expected to leave for free in the summer.

BurnleySheffield United and Brighton and Hove Albion are also contemplating a move for Bowen, while Championship frontrunners Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion are both in the hunt as well.

Several Premier League sides were keen on Bowen last summer after watching him rack up 22 goals and four assists for Hull in the second tier. He is on track to better that tally this time around, which has caught the eye of even more top-flight bosses.

Primarily a right-winger, Bowen has also featured in a more central role at times this season. His versatility and goalscoring have made him a wanted man, and there will be no shortage of suitors for his signature if he does hit the market.

However, Hull will continue to try convince him to extend his stay at the KCOM Stadium. They are under no urgent pressure to sell, but a concrete offer from a top side could be enough to tempt them to strike a deal.
