England Under-21's now stand unbeaten in 48 qualifying matches but their latest games on the road to the 2023 European Championship threw up some difficult moments for Lee Carsley's side.

Leading by two goals to nil in Slovenia on Thursday evening, England were pegged back by their hosts in the second-half before following in the footsteps of the senior team with a trip to Andorra on Monday.

There was to be no easy way past the minnows, however, a task made harder by the sending-off of Rhian Brewster for two yellow cards, ten minutes into the second-half.

Arsenal's Emile Smith-Rowe then broke the deadlock and England held on to claim the three points.

Tickets are available to see the U21's in action against Czech Republic at Burnley's Turf Moor on Thursday 11 November.

An excellent attendance of 6,394 at Chesterfield's Technique Stadium last week saw England U20's draw 1-1 with an accomplished Italy side, a famous name on the scoresheet for the visitors as Daniel Maldini of AC Milan, son of the legendary Paulo, netted with a header.
